I've seen this village change over 50 years or more. Once the crossroads took you to Holyhead, Trearddur Bay, Amlwch or Bangor, it was a very busy village. The traffic was constant but also the community was full and everyone knew each other. Now, the A55 takes away most of the passing traffic, which is a blessing and it still is a busy village but sadly changed from what it was once. This view of the Valley Hotel and the corner shop (that was) is now blighted with gaudy advertising which detracts from the character of the old buildings. My version is a cleaned up view of what I once remember. As for the snowy version,; we rarely get snow of any great depth so it makes a special occasion for all ages when it does fall. It always looks perfect before the first footprints or tyre tracks spoil it.
