St.Cwyfan's Church in the sea. This Church is dedicated to St. Cwyfan ( St.Kevin ) St. Kevin was an Irish saint, known as the founder and first abbot of Glendalough in County Wicklow, Ireland. St. Kevin lived the life of a hermit there with an extraordinary closeness to nature. His companions were the animals and birds all around him so I have depicted him here with animals around him on the shore. It is reputed that a blackbird nested in his hand.
