Nant Ffrancon, Bethesda

This view is on the original road through Nant Ffrancon which follows the valley floor unlike it's more modern version built by Thomas Telford which runs parallel. The original road was constructed by Lord Penrhyn in the late 18th century and although it is only single track, I think it's a far more scenic road and it allows to you stop and see the full height of the mountains either side of you.
